  • Marriage certificate (if spouse-based)
  • CNIC/NICOP of Pakistani relative
  • Undertaking verified by 2 witnesses

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between NICOP and POC?

A NICOP is for Pakistani citizens living in the UK or holding dual nationality. A POC is for non-Pakistani nationals with Pakistani roots — e.g. a British citizen whose parents were Pakistani or who is married to a Pakistani citizen.

Can I travel to Pakistan with an expired NICOP?

Generally no — airlines may deny boarding and entry at the Pakistani border can be refused. Renew before travelling. Contact us if your renewal is urgent.

How long is a NADRA NICOP valid?

Adult NICOP cards are valid for 10 years. Under 2026 rules, Pakistani citizens aged 60 and above can receive lifetime validity.

Is home delivery included?

Yes. The NADRA fee includes DHL home delivery to your UK address. There is no separate delivery charge. Immediate family can also collect with the original receipt.

What is the new QR code on my card?

From 2026 all NADRA cards include a QR code for instant machine-readable identity verification — used at border control, banks, and government services.

Do I need an appointment at a NADRA centre?

If applying in person at a UK NADRA office (London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bradford or Glasgow), yes — appointments are mandatory. When you apply through us, we handle the submission online so you don't need one.
